Our mother, Antionette Crockett, was a woman whose life was defined by love, service, and an unwavering devotion to children. From her earliest years, she carried a God‑given calling to nurture young lives, and she fulfilled that mission with grace, compassion, and steadfast dedication.
She spent her career serving in the Clark County School District, where she poured her heart into supporting students and families. Her commitment didn’t end when she retired. Instead, she stepped even deeper into her purpose—opening her home and her heart to children who needed a safe, loving place to grow.
For twenty years, she provided in‑home daycare, creating a warm, welcoming environment where children felt cherished, protected, and encouraged. Many came to know her not just as a caregiver, but as their Nana—a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Her generosity extended far beyond daycare. Miss Antionette took in foster children, offering them stability, belonging, and the kind of nurturing that can change the course of a life. She believed deeply that every child deserved to be seen, valued, and given the chance to reach their full potential.
Her legacy lives on in the countless children she touched, the families she supported, and the community she strengthened. Miss Antionette’s life was a testament to what love in action looks like—a mission from God carried out with humility, joy, and a heart full of purpose.
